Review: Fogless Shower Mirror

I do not have a witty review to post like some of the others on here, although I was pleasantly surprised that the owner of the company was able to write a witty response to some of the other Amazon reviews. 

I have personally never owned a "Fogless" mirror before, so I did not go into this with any pre-conceived notions.   I did however like the idea that I could hang a mirror in the shower to make sure I have removed all my eye make-up.   I guess I assumed my husband could use it for shaving too, if he felt the need.   Since hanging the mirror, I wish that it came with a suction cup hook vs the hook that is currently comes with.   If you are anything like me, you might want to change where the mirror is hung, or lean the shower wall.   I will say the sticker on the hook is quite powerful.   The directions say to wipe area with rubbing alcohol first, but I didn’t and now I cannot remove it.  So it is stuck where it is.   The mirror has a slimy film or feel to it, but that might be the "nanotechnology" -which I know absolutely nothing about.   The mirror does not fog up at all, so it does exactly what it says it will.  I would recommend using a command strip or your own suction cup hook not the one that is provided.

The packing of the product was good, unlike some of the other reviews that said the packaging was not good or did not uphold through shipping.  It even has a resealable closure, which I prefer.  After I received my shipment, I looked at the ebook which came with my purchase to find something that would be good.  There were lots of choices, but I didnt feel like cooking or baking.  The consistency was grainy and I wasn't sure how I really liked it or not, it wasn't the best product I have tasted.   I would use it again, since I still have a lot left in the bag.  There are quite a lot of recipes to try, so I may end up finding something I really like.   Below you will see some pictures of a smoothie/drink I made.   The company was super nice, and made multiple contacts after purchase to make sure I was happy with my purchase.  I would by other products from Kiss Me Organics!

I just received my 1 pound tub of Pure Shea Butter, and was excited to give it a try as there are a list of tons of things you can use this for. I personally struggle with eczema and I have tried multiple over the counter products in the past. I also liked the idea that this was 100% Organic, so I didn’t have to worry about a different reaction on my skin or where I used it. I opened the product and expected it to be a butter consistency, but it was hard and a little difficult to get out of the container. I would suggest using a spoon or something to get a small chunk out. Once you have some of the product, it melts quickly with your body heat and is super easy to spread on your skin. Once it melted it was smooth and I could tell my skin was immediately hydrated, and it looked healthy and shiny. I’ve been using this product for about a week now, and while the eczema spots have not disappeared, I can tell it is helping and there is no flaking and the itching has gone down in that area. I am looking forward to trying it out on some other concerns I’ve had, like my dry frizzy hair. The only negative I have about this product is the smell, once you get past that, its great. The smell is not horrible, but smells odd.

I was able to use my finger nail to get product out.  I have since updated my blog to include my want to try this product in my hair.   I think it helped with some of the frizz and dryness.   I placed a good amount in my hands, rubbed them together to warm and met the shae button and I applied to the ends of my hair.   I put my hair in a bun and went to bed,   The next morning, I washed my hair.   I did have to add shampoo a second time as I felt that there was still product in my hair.

Day 10: My best physical feature

I think my teeth - I know funny thing to say, but they are very straight for never having had braces and they're pretty white for the coffee and wine I drink.   I also used to be a smoker, and my teeth are nice and white.

Day 1 (Dinner) at Edmond's Oast

Review:  Great beer selection.  They had 48 taps and lots of great beers from all over.   I had a gypsy beer, which was my first exposure to a gypsy beer maker.  The server was great and gave me a small history lesson in Gypsy Beer - which was a great added bonus.  Gypsy Beer makers go all over the world and make their beer in someone else Brick and Mortar building - so that establishment gets to serve./sell his beer and he moves on to the next place.

Day 2 (Lunch) Chick-fil-A

I have never eaten at a chick-fil-a, so I was excited to try something new...  I guess you really need to go into the restaurant to experience everything.   It wasn't bad, but I could do without - I

am not an addict 

Day 2 (Dinner) Crab Shack (not Joe's Crab Shack)

This place was pretty cool, lots of surf decor and lots of seafood.   I tried the crab soup, which I was told was a Carolina thing... it was good.   The dinner was fabulous, so good!   The place was empty so we received great service - although I wonder why no one else was eating there??

Day 3 (Dinner) The Mellow Mushroom (cool name, Funky joint)

This was great pizza, but expect to wait for a table.   We got there around 8pm and there was a 30 min wait.  Also I heard they have a "kids" night, so if you dont want to be surrounded by kids call first.  

I had the Funky-Q-Chicken - very good crust and taste

Day 4 (Lunch) Carolina Creole Lunch Truck

This is a food truck that makes very good creole food.   Since I dont like spicy foods I stayed away from most items on their menu...but I did get a ham and roast beef po-boy.  I wish I knew they put mustard on it - that was my mistake, so I cannot fault the cooks.

Since I have some OCD, most of my bad habits are around them.   I get into a cleaning phase, where I will clean - something.   I normally have a hard time finishing one thing because if I go into another room I will see something there that needs to be cleaned or something...

I am also notorious for placing things "somewhere safe" or "somewhere where I will remember" and then I can never find them again....

I don't have a lot of junk or clutter, but I do have lots of stuff "stored" away..

31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 7

Day 7: My pet hates.....

Watson just loves his people and wants to be around us all the time.  One thing he hates is if we are touching him when he is sleeping.   It can be a foot that touches him while he is taking up almost half of our king size bed, or it could be your elbow brushes up on him when he is sprawled all over the couch - little things like that.   If he is really tired, he doesn't want to be bothered and will let you know.   He has the little growl he lets out, its hard not to laugh, but he means business!

Demon is another story, he is getting old and had a couple lumps, but he still acts young.   He doesn't like if you go to grab at him.   He is a husky, and always has clumps of hair falling out, so I go t grab one and he gets all crazy and jumps around.  He drives me crazy with his clumps of hair, but that is part of owning a husky......lots and lots of hair.

Review: Not your Mother's

Last weekend I went to my local Walmart and saw some Not Your Mother's haircare products.  My daughter, Katie wanted to try.  I saw some sample/trial size packs for $1.47 so we got a couple.

I have to admit I was kinda excited to try this product,  and I 've tried lots of hair deep conditioning treatments. ..mostly been let down.   Maybe I need to lower my expectations lol.

The product felt great on, I used the whole thing because I have long hair and it needs some TLC!

After I was done I noticed the "weird" smell in my hair, but not a terrible smell, I just cant figure it out. I didnt worry about the smell....back to the results...my hair felt very silky and smooth.  So far I was impressed.  I allowed my hair to air dry, even though the smell was sending my curiosity up....looked online, nothing to tell me what the smell was,  only a "bad review".

Our humidity levels have been up a little,  but my hair had puffed up and was very frizzy.   Like my teenage daughter say "frizy hair, dont care"...w I actually don't think she says this, but something else. ..hehe 😆.  I didn't think my hair was in any better health or at least didn't look better.   It was soft and managable.

Not sure I would try again, looks like I am still on my quest to find a miracle hair fix!
