I was super excited to get this product because I have read so much about these types of facial sponges but I haven't had the time to buy one yet. When I opened up the box, there was a suction cup hook (clear plastic) and the dark gray sponge wrapped tightly in plastic. After removing the sponge from the plastic, it was hard (like a rock) so I followed the direction and soaked it in water while I figured out where I wanted to place the hook in my shower. When I came back it had already soaked up water and was much softer and it expanded a little. Now it was time to try it (YAY) it felt like a normal sponge on your face, wasn't scratchy or hard at all, but I didn't want to use it around my eyes (still wasn't sure). Now that I have used this for about a week, I feel that my skin is softer and I am noticing that some of the blackheads on my nose have started to fade. I am super happy with this product and I've bought my daughter one too.
I'd like to share some Tips & Tricks to make sure that your are getting the full benefits of your Konjac Sponge.
How to Use:
When you receive the sponge it will be hard and dry like a loofah. You first need to soak the sponge for several minutes until it is fully soft. Please never try to use your sponge when it is hard.
Gently massage your face with or without your favorite cleanser. Should you choose to use a cleanser, apply only a fraction of your usual amount, as the sponge will generate more bubbles!
After use, rinse your Konjac Sponge and press it gently with two hands. Never wring the sponge as it will damage the fibers and won't last as long!
Hang your pureSOL Konjac Sponge on the enclosed hook in a well-ventalated space. We recommend to replace your Konjac Sponge every 2-3 months or when it starts to break down. Your sponge may dry out between uses, it's ok! All you need to do is soak the sponge again!
